It is a beautiful place. As for Stonehenge, we were on another tour. Our tour bus parked across the road from it and we walked through an underground passage to the site. Again, we were supplied with the audio equipment. While it is true that there is a barricade, we were still close enough to enjoy this amazing place while listening to the audio if we chose to do so.
I would recommend both places for a tour. We enjoyed both them very much.
